Roy Wood Transits is a family firm established by Roy Wood in 1970, just five years after Ford launched the Transit. We are proud of the excellent reputation we have earned over the years, much of our business coming from personal recommendations. The core of our business is Van Sales combining an unrivalled After Sales with competitive Finance. We also offer Van Hire specialising in short term local hire.

Following a visit to the 2002 Earls Court Motorhome Exhibition to buy just one personal motorhome, resulted in us becoming the southern dealership for Kentucky Camp!

Further research highlighted a need for a compact high specification Transit motor caravan. Having already supplied base vehicles to Horizons Unlimited, we invested with them to launch the Cavarno, which won Motorcaravan of the Year in it's debut year.

Recent projects include the Innovation wheelchair-accessible motorhome and Ventura offered under our own RWT Conversions Group as an entry-level camper conversion.

Our involvement with motorhome wheelchair customers created an interest to develop a new concept prototype vehicle utilising our key automotive engineering skills to create the Innov-8.
